Creative Communities COVID Recovery Program

Client: Caversham Valley Primary School, WA
TThis residency was funded by Lotterywest as part of a COVID recovery program. It was a 10 weeks residency program working with all year groups from Kindergarten to Year 6.
The mural was to reflect teamwork, community and creativity. The work included the bee as an emblem of abundance, persistence, communication, teamwork and fruitfulness. They are by nature industrious, strong and intuitive.
The other elements incorporated through student workshops were flora and fauna of Australia and the heritage countries of the students.
